The Role Objective
The team that you lead is often the first point of interaction with our brand and is the heart of our operation. It is on this basis that as the Front of House Manager you ensure your team operate to the highest of standards of performance and guest care. You will naturally be a leader and have the guests' interests and experiences at heart.
Guests and colleagues look to the Front Office team for all property-related information and rely on the team for all guest-related queries. It is based on this that the role is one that requires you to possess excellent knowledge and data within your area, and you use your exceptional communication skills to support the wider team.
Some Responsibilities include:
1. Lead the team to success both in personal and professional standards.
2. Act as a go-to Manager within the business and manager that holds exceptional customer knowledge.
3. Maintain adequate staffing levels by ensuring retention is high and turnover is low.
4. Manage the department through short-term measurable objectives, to continually improve the performance and profitability of the front desk.
5. Establish corporate business opportunities within the property, for room business and spa business. Support other corporate sales activities in the property.
