What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience in a Parking Services environment, having knowledge of Parking Services income and expenditure budgets, attending Traffic Penalty Tribunal hearings, and being able to project manage and coordinate work relating to routine parking, bus lane, and moving traffic enforcement. The candidate will supervise all contractors who support the council in the provision of parking services.
About the role:
The successful applicant will be willing to travel and have experience in representing the council at local, regional, and national levels within the parking industry. They will also need to have the appropriate knowledge to advise internal and external stakeholders on parking, bus lane, and moving traffic enforcement matters.
About you:
We need an experienced person with in-depth knowledge and application of relevant legislation, regulations, procedures, and guidance to assist the Team Leader in the Council’s statutory duties relating to traffic enforcement and the provision of off-street and on-street parking matters. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are essential.
Qualifications:
* Level HNC or above (or equivalent) in a subject relevant to the service or significant relevant service experience.
* Relevant qualifications/experience for service within the parking industry.
