We are currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our dynamic finance team at our Head Office. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for undertaking all routine purchase ledger administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service.
The role:
1. Organising, registering, matching and posting purchase ledger invoices in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy.
2. Dealing with any issues arising, including corresponding with internal departments and external suppliers to obtain resolutions.
3. Responding to supplier queries.
4. Reconciling supplier statements to check for omissions/discrepancies.
5. Compiling necessary information for payment runs for processing by Finance Manager.
6. Assist in ensuring supplier payment terms, and where relevant early payment terms, are met.
7. Reporting to management on issues encountered, status of invoice processing etc.
8. All necessary scanning and shredding of documents/invoices/statements, remittance advices, statements etc. kept up to date.
9. Provide cover for other roles within the department as and where needed along with ad hoc duties that may arise.
10. Work with internal teams and suppliers for processing pre-payment and ad hoc requests.
11. Working with internal teams ensure that credit cards transactions are processed and kept up to date in a timely manner.
12. Process internal company expense forms and file relevant backups in the appropriate location.
