They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your-on experience and learning from industry professionals while contributing to the success of a dynamic and growing business.
In this role you will work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access permissions using Active Directory .
Provide basic training and create user-friendly documentation to help users solve common technical issues independently.
Support service level agreements (SLAs) and handle escalations using the ticketing system, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices.
Deliver IT support via remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer ) and in-person, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Business Central, Microsoft 365).
Assist with hardware upgrades, replacements, and inventory tracking of IT assets.
Support network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, VPNs, and ensuring robust network security.
Automate updates, manage group policies, and deploy security patches using tools like PowerShell scripting .
Gain experience in cloud computing platforms such as Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, and Microsoft 365.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic Team
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£13,000 - £16,000 per annum
37 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 8:15am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:15am to 4:00pm)
33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

Your Training with Baltic:
You will be enrolled in a Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You'll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.
Beyond the fundamental apprenticeship modules, you'll delve into two Be-Spoke modules and one advanced Expert module. This personalised approach will hone your abilities and deepen your expertise, positioning you as a true leader in your field. The Be-Spoke and Expert modules you will complete are:
Work Safety Requirements: Explore IT workplace safety covering electrical equipment, DSE best practices, and facility maintenance procedures.
Customer Service Fundamentals: This course covers customer service essentials: understanding customers, product knowledge, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, and self-improvement.
MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals:Demonstrate foundational-level knowledge of cloud-based solutions to facilitate productivity, compliance and collaboration among on-site, remote, and hybrid workers.
