An extremely exciting opportunity has arisen at Sharp Consultancy for a Senior Payroll Manager to join a global business.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team and managing a payroll function.
Senior Payroll Manager Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the payroll function for employees across multiple locations.
* The calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
* Ensure compliance with all local payroll laws and regulations, as well as internal policies.
* Manage and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to align payroll with organizational objectives.
* Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
* Conduct regular audits of payroll processes to identify and mitigate risks.
* Handle complex payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in payroll legislation, ensuring the organization’s payroll practices remain compliant.
* Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
