We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Delivery Driver. As the face of our company on the road, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely, accurate, and secure deliveries to our customers. This position goes beyond transportation-it's about providing an exceptional customer experience, handling products with care, and representing Liberty Wines with professionalism and enthusiasm. Key Responsibilities Delivery and Warehouse: Load the van each morning, making sure deliveries are organised and packed safely Deliver multiple orders using a company van, following the schedule and returning to the depot at the end of the day Handle deliveries with extra care and attention Collect items from customers and ensure the necessary details are logged accurately Record delivery and collection information fully and correctly Ensure delivery paperwork is completed and returned on time Pick and pack orders in the warehouse when required Flexibility to work from our Clapham, London site as needed Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader to support the team and operations Timely & Safe Deliveries: Ensure accurate and punctual deliveries to our customers, handling products with the utmost care Following guidance of the Driver Handbook Vehicle Maintenance: Manage vehicle maintenance and housekeeping, ensuring our fleet is always in top condition Maintain comprehensive records, including incident reports and performance metrics Customer Services Excellence: Greet customers warmly and professionally, providing excellent service during deliveries Represent Liberty Wines by reflecting our values of quality and passion for fine wines Health & Safety and Compliance Always adhere to the Highway code and road safety regulations Perform daily vehicle checks Follow the Driver's Handbook and conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance Work in accordance with company H&S policies and procedures Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and safety About you Friendly, approachable, and helpful personality Punctual with excellent time management skills Strong attention to detail when following loading, delivery, and collection instructions, and excellent ability to follow instructions accurately Proactive attitude and a strong work ethic Exceptional team player with strong communication skills, both with customers and colleagues In-depth knowledge of the Home Counties, London, and surrounding areas Willingness to work overtime when required A clean driver's license What you can expect 25 days holiday plus public holidays increasing after 2 years' service Personal bonus of up to 5% of salary, based on performance against key objectives Company bonus of up to 15% of salary Company pension scheme matching up to 5% of contributions 18 weeks enhanced maternity leave and 4 weeks paternity leave Cycle to work scheme & Season ticket loan Employee Assistance Programme Travel insurance Employee wine discount Retail, wellbeing, technology, and travel discounts Liberty Wines is an award-winning company and accredited by Investors in People which offers excellent opportunities for training and development alongside a great working environment (and an even better coffee machine).
