We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Brent, North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a real impact in the final year of primary education, with the potential to secure a permanent role from September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to a diverse Year 6 class, preparing students for SATs and secondary school.
* Plan and deliver a curriculum that meets the individual needs of students.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
* Work closely with other staff members, including teaching assistants, to provide a supportive learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Year 6 (desirable).
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment processes (including SATs).
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* A passion for helping children reach their full potential and preparing them for the next stage of their education.
