We work alongside one of the world’s leading developers of Flow Assurance technology for the Energy, Petrochem, Utilities and Pharmaceutical markets, that currently requires further Electronics Engineering talent to complement their existing design team in Somerset!
Working collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, you’ll work across existing products developing features/fixes and alternative components. You will take ownership of the above tasks across the products used globally within our client’s business, ensuring you support production plans and business needs.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Development of core products.
2. New feature requests and product fixes.
3. Adherence to formal design principles using best practice processes.
4. Delivering high-quality solutions using continuous improvement tools and techniques.
5. Contribute to production requirements and customer issues affecting the electronics.
6. Ensure functional and non-functional test specifications meet compliance requirements.
7. Develop and prepare technical records and reports to demonstrate compliance with associated specifications and any relevant standards.
Your Required Skills and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Software or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience in analysing, designing, testing, debugging, and enhancing existing/new products used in an industrial environment.
3. Experience in task management, defect management, requirements capture, verification and validation tools.
4. Unit testing/regression testing experience.
5. Adaptable and able to cope with the unexpected, and manage issues effectively.
