The Impact of the Role As Credit Control Manager you will play a key role in leading, overseeing and supporting the Credit Control Team to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts and minimise bad debt exposure. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, implementing efficient processes, and upholding company credit policies to maintain healthy cash flow. What you will do: Drive Collection Success – Oversee and support the team in managing overdue accounts, negotiating settlements, and implementing recovery strategies. Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams and customers to resolve queries and enhance the credit control process. Team Leadership – Mentor, coach, and develop a strong credit control team, ensuring performance excellence. Strategic Insight – Analyse debtor trends, produce key reports, and recommend improvements to strengthen financial health. Process Innovation – Review and enhance credit control processes for maximum efficiency and compliance. Your Attributes You will have: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or QBE with relevant experience in business partnering and financial reporting). Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable, and stakeholder management. Strong system skills, including Excel, databases, and reporting tools. Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively. A team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and developing others.
