We are currently seeking to recruit a Flexographic Printer for our Daventry site. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Printer is responsible for the day-to-day print manufacturing process as instructed through the print plan.
This is what you need to do:
* Daily production of the print plan in accordance with the specification.
* Working in a safe manner at all times and support for the site safety objectives and reporting any safety concerns to the Production Supervisors.
* The timely and cost-conscious delivery of the print plan.
* Contribution and compliance to the Operations improvement forums through involvement and dialogue.
* Local adherence to the quality systems and input into the local risk assessments.
* Day-to-day adherence to the site environmental objectives.
* Personal development through coaching, internal courses, and appraisal.
* Always working in accordance with the site guides and procedures.
* The strengthening of internal customer – supplier relationships by seeking to understand other team goals, particularly in the areas of SMED and yield.
Qualifications & Skills: To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* 2+ years as a printing press operator
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
* Proficiency with IT systems, including in-house database software.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
* A high level of responsibility, reliability, and flexibility, combined with a strong work ethic.
* A strong commitment to quality and safety in the workplace.
Hours of work:
Shift Pattern is on a weekly rotating basis with a short/early finish on Fridays
* Early: Monday to Thursday 6am – 1.45pm; Fridays – 6am to 11.30am
* Late: Monday to Thursday 1.30pm – 9.15pm; Fridays – 11.15am – 5pm
