The Inspired Learning Group is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Head for St. Francis’ College, Letchworth
Set in the midst of Letchworth Garden City, St. Francis’ College is a leading girls’ day and boarding school that has been providing a first-class education for girls for 90 years, blending traditional values and a modern vision. The College aims to provide stimulating education, based on our values of DREAMS, which enables students to thrive in an ever-changing global environment.
St. Francis’ College has been recognised for its outstanding academic results, pastoral support and the extensive range of extracurricular activities available for students. Shown in 2024 at GCSE 49% of all grades achieved were grades 9-8 (A*), and at A Level 25% of all grades were at A*.
This appointment is an exciting opportunity for an existing or aspiring Head with the skills and experience to guide the College through the coming years. The College has an excellent reputation in the local area and as a result of the development of the Nursery with ILG, the College is in a period of significant growth
The new Head must be willing to work closely in partnership with ILG, but also have the strength and independence to make their own decisions for the benefit of the College and its community.
