The successful candidate will be responsible for developing training plans, implementing the strategy, working with a range of health care professionals across the organisation and region wide to ensure that a high-quality training programme is delivered to our Foundation trainees, undergraduate students and other health care professionals The role also involves working with the Dispensary team, supporting with the day to day management, providing the opportunity to build on leadership and management skills. Main duties of the job To lead on the delivery of the on-going clinical pharmacy training and assessments for all grades of pharmacists. To support Pharmacy technician, education and training in ensuring training need to pre-registration and qualified technicians are met. To act as a diploma tutor To be a part of the education and training strategy group which will decide both the short and long term plan for education and training within the pharmacy department and deal with relevant matters as they arise. To act as a designated supervisor and work with the lead for education and training to manage the foundation training program' To plan and oversee the training programme for undergraduate and work experience students To manage the external training provided to nurses, medics and other members of the MDT To, co-ordinate and supervise the workflow and staff rotas within the in- patient dispensary in liason with the senior technician in dispensary.
