The Role
Based in London, as an Assistant Manager in the Transactions practice in P&U the individual will be responsible for:
1. Providing advice on large and complex transactions and leveraging the specialist skills across the P&U team (strategy/market/regulation/regulatory finance/benchmarking etc)
2. Providing financial advice on transactions
3. Originating transaction-related advisory mandates in the P&U sector
4. Building a strong network to promote our services
5. Contributing to ensuring that KPMG's quality and risk management procedures are completed to the appropriate standard
The Candidate
The candidate should have:
6. Strong academic background
7. Experience of working on transactions in utilities and infrastructure, either with an M&A or a Consulting background
8. Detailed understanding of transaction process and execution
9. Ability to carry out financial analysis on transactions including different valuation methods
10. Ability to work at pace and during intense periods of live transactions
11. Excellent presentation and communications skills
12. Strong commercial awareness
