About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out planned servicing and reactive maintenance/repairs on machinery.
* Investigating and diagnosing breakdown issues to ensure minimal downtime.
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations.
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safe working practices.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a workshop, manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
* Experience working with heavy machinery, plasma machines, and a Zemon machine (100 metres long). Desirable.
* Hydraulics & Pneumatics - Essential
* Basic Welding - Desirable
* Mechanical engineering qualifications or a time-served apprenticeship.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
