Job Description
Primary Purpose
* To grow market share through business development across prospective national and pan European accounts.
* To manage and develop existing accounts.
* To identify, prospect, pursue and close competitive strategic sales opportunities, actively managing the rollout and further penetration of these accounts.
* To develop and implement a process to efficiently participate and respond to national tenders.
Key Accountabilities
* Annual target revenue, profit, and unit.
* Pipeline growth/prospective sales opportunities.
* Manage and secure existing accounts.
* Meet and fulfill customer expectations and applications.
* Manage, coordinate, and follow the tender process.
* Identify, develop, and bring new accounts into contract.
* Build internal and external relations through sales support, GE Finance, dealers, and aftermarket to influence support and maximize sales.
Knowledge & Skills Required
* Business Management - BS/BA Degree or equivalent.
* Knowledge of complex solution selling and a structured sales approach.
* Product, application, and industry knowledge.
* Professional sales experience involving major accounts or corporations with proven results; significant work experience in senior sales within a manufacturing/international environment.
* Creative and persistent business development skills.
* Prospecting and negotiation with multiple points of influence (personal selling).
* Presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience responding to tender requests at a national and pan European level.
