Based: Canterbury/ Home Based Salary: up to £32,000 per annum (dependant on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday Contract: Fixed Term up to 12 months (maternity cover) Role Overview: The Assessment Production Coordinator will be responsible for supporting subject matter experts in order to develop and deliver robust and effective assessment items in line with agreed qualification specifications and assessment design principles. They will ensure that assessment items and learning materials are aligned to ensure students are equipped to achieve their ambition. They will also be responsible for reviewing and editing items produced by subject matter experts to ensure they meet the requirements of the qualification specification and marking scheme. This role is up to 12 month fixed term maternity cover and hybrid, with attendance required in the Canterbury Office for onsite meetings, events and training. Key Tasks: Build relationships with examiners and moderators (internal and external) to ensure that they deliver effective assessment items, on time and to budget Ensure that feedback provided to students is technically accurate Prepare and maintain appropriate written guidance regarding question paper format to enable subject matter experts to delivery as appropriate Review and analyse the performance of assessments within own portfolio, including information related to item / question performance, student feedback and viewpoints from subject matter experts to make recommendations for improvement Review and edit assessments produced by subject matter experts to ensure they meet the requirements of the qualification specification and marking scheme Ensure that assessment and learning materials are aligned to ensure students are equipped to achieve their ambition Ensure that the requirements of the General Conditions of Recognition (GCR) are met as appropriate to role Support the withdrawal of qualifications and ensure assessments are managed effectively to enable students to complete within the required timeframes Ensure that all assessments are administered to a high standard, maintaining the quality and reputation of the LIBF Your Profile: Experience of working within an educational environment Experience in working collaboratively with various stakeholders Knowledge of the financial services industry, educational environments or the LIBF’s range of qualifications An understanding of the requirements for delivering effective assessments, along with appropriate experience Excellent and confident communication, influencing and interpersonal skills as well as being organised, with the ability to work flexibly.
