We are seeking a kind, patient, positive, caring, empowering (not directive) and fun loving PA to support our 20-year old daughter who has ASD (amongst other challenges) to live a safe, healthy and independent life. The transition to independent living will be achieved by helping to develop her daily living skills, manage her anxiety and build her self confidence such that she can establish lasting relationships / friendships and take part in local groups and events. Duties include:
* Medication prompting/administering
* Moving and handling
* Other relevant duties as required
* Administration
* Housekeeping
* Shopping
* Cooking
* Transportation
* Companionship
* Looking after pets
* Reinforcing (in a empowering manner) the understanding of rules and procedures, including health and safety as applied to daily activities
* Supporting social and formal communications in the context of public, friendship group and one-to-one engagement (including the establishment of friendships)
* Supporting the understanding of and appropriate action in the case of emergencies or unplanned events, e.g., accident in the home, train not stopping at required station, etc
* Achieving appropriate levels of cleanliness in the home
* Support to manage personal finances, i.e., setting appropriate budget relative to income and monitoring / reconciliation of actual spend vs budget over time
* Support to manage admin / form concerning hospital, doctors and dentist visits and follow-ups etc

* Our daughter is a very independently-minded person. She works well with a person who will work and engage in leisure / pass-times with her, rather than direct her.
