Project Planner – South West (Contract) Location: South West, UK Rate: £270 per day (Contract) Contract Type: Long-term Contract About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a dynamic project team on a contract basis in the South West. This role is ideal for a professional with strong NEC contract planning experience, looking to contribute to the successful execution of large-scale infrastructure projects. The Project Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project programmes, ensuring full compliance with NEC contract requirements and effective collaboration with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and update the project programme in line with NEC contract requirements. Work closely with the Project Management team to translate objectives into detailed plans and schedules. Identify and report on project delays, providing solutions to mitigate impact. Implement planning, monitoring, and control processes to ensure timely progress reporting and risk assessment. Facilitate the early warning process, identifying risks and assisting in mitigation strategies. Ensure accurate submission of revised programs, forecasts, and contract modifications. Conduct collaborative planning sessions with clients and stakeholders for seamless project execution. Utilise critical path analysis, earned value management, and other tools for effective progress monitoring. Prepare and present progress reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams, ensuring open communication and alignment. Requirements & Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Project. Strong understanding of NEC contracts and planning requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently to produce project programmes.
