Commissioning Engineer
Location: Malvern
Salary: £45,000 + £450 Monthly Car Allowance
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer to join a leading engineering company specializing in advanced engine testing solutions. This role involves working on-site across the UK, ensuring the successful installation, testing, and commissioning of state-of-the-art equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Travel to client sites to install, test, and commission advanced engine testing systems.
2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning processes.
3. Work closely with clients to ensure equipment meets specifications and operational requirements.
4. Provide on-site technical support and training to clients when needed.
5. Complete detailed commissioning reports and project documentation.
6. Adhere to all health and safety protocols while on-site.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and resolve challenges efficiently.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in commissioning, field service, or system testing (preferably in automotive, industrial, or mechanical engineering sectors).
2. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, including electrical and mechanical designs.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on technical expertise.
4. Experience with PLCs, software integration, or calibration systems (advantageous).
Qualifications:
1. Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar discipline).
2. Full UK driving license.

1. Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
2. Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
3. Adaptable and able to work in various environments across client sites.
4. Willingness to travel extensively with occasional overnight stays.
