Hays are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a local authority to recruit for an interim Contract Manager within their Equal Pay team. My client is committed to ensuring fair pay practices across their services and are therefore seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee their third-party Equal Pay service providers.
This role is a 6-month interim assignment, and is paying between £400-£600 per day inside IR35 dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Management: Oversee the management of contracts with all third-party Equal Pay service providers, including Mercer, Veran, Gauge, and RoleMapper.
* Service Delivery Monitoring: Ensure that service delivery aligns with contractual obligations, focusing on burn rate versus scheduled delivery.
* Contract Review Processes: Conduct regular reviews of contracts to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
* Invoicing Management: Manage invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness where appropriate.
* Change Management: Handle contract change management processes to adapt to evolving needs and circumstances.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in contract management, preferably within a local authority or public sector environment.
* Strong understanding of Equal Pay principles and related legislation.
* Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and service providers.
