SEN Teacher
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £140 - £190 per day (depending on experience & qualifications)
About the Role:
Teach Match is seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to work in specialist schools and alternative provisions across Birmingham and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs
* Support students with a range of SEN including ASD, SEMH, PMLD, SLD, and MLD
* Develop and adapt resources to suit diverse learning styles and needs
* Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress using EHCP targets and academic outcomes
* Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, therapists, and families
* Promote emotional regulation, independence, and positive behaviour
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
* Experience teaching pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential for the right candidate)
* Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning
* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through Teach Match)
