About the Opportunity
Join a dynamic team as a Learning Support Assistant in a specialised school for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Birmingham. This school caters to children and young adults with Autism, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as other learning challenges.
Your role will involve:
1. Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups within the classroom.
2. Working across various age groups, from Early Years to Post-16.
3. Helping students develop essential skills for independence in a supportive and inclusive environment.
This position is perfect for graduates seeking a stepping stone into educational psychology, clinical psychology, counselling, or teaching.
Ideal Candidates
We are looking for individuals who are:
1. Recent graduates in Psychology or a related field (or currently pursuing their degree).
2. Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
3. Interested in developing skills to work with SEN students.
4. Degrees in related areas such as Criminology, Social Work, Sports Science/Coaching, or Youth and Community Studies are also welcome.

Requirements
