Job Summary You will be performing a range of technical activities to support the manufacture of advanced therapeutic medicinal products and cryopreservation of stem cells. We will provide you with an extensive induction and training programme and ongoing development to support you in your role and achieving your career ambitions. Main duties of the job You will be required to clean, maintain and perform environmental monitoring of the cleanroom suite to a high specification. This will require wearing cover-all garments while inside the clean rooms. You will be required to maintain stocks and reagents in-line with MHRA regulations The role will require you to work standard hours and days. Occasionally there may be a requirement to work some evenings, weekends and bank holidays depending on the project schedule, but with appropriate notice You will be required to manually handle equipment on a daily basis weighing up to 13 kgs, with or without mechanical aids, with appropriate training You will be responsible for the support and training of new and less experienced staff About You Experience and Knowledge Experience of supervising others Experience of working with Information Technology such as Microsoft Office Qualifications and Training BTEC or HNC (Level 4) in a science subject, or similar qualifications relevant to the area of the organisation the postholder will be working in. OR Equivalent knowledge & experience of a wide range of blood processing, testing and/or issuing procedures and techniques demanding intermediate level theoretical knowledge aquired through formal training.
