You will lead and inspire the electricity metering team to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver on workstreams critical to the business. This role is ideal for someone seeking to challenge themselves and develop further skills within the UK energy industry. The role focuses on problem-solving, building strong relationships, and embedding knowledge transfer practices to ensure technical information is well-documented and accessible. Working alongside other team leaders in the Electricity Operations Department, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence.
This role also plays a crucial part in embedding knowledge transfer within the team, ensuring that technical information is well-documented and accessible.
Amongst other responsibilities of this role, the individual will support and develop the Metering team, as well as working closely with our Meter Exchange Team which is managed through an offshore partner.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
* Work experience in a similar position previously with transferable skills;
* Extensive experience in metering operations within the electricity supply industry, with a deep understanding of metering technologies and processes;
* Proven expertise in resolving complex technical issues related to metering, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency;
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in developing and supporting team members;
* Proficiency in process improvement methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement;
* Strong proficiency in identifying and implementing process improvements.
