This role, based in Banbury, reports to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager and is responsible for maintaining all facilities and infrastructure. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining equipment reliability, managing contractors, and providing a professional facilities service to both internal customers and external visitors. What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like? Understand and manage all site systems, including compressed air, cooling water, HV and LV electrical distribution, gas networks, HVAC, drainage, potable water, fire detection, suppression, sprinklers, and LEV systems. Maintain site infrastructure, working with engineers and subcontractors to install, maintain, and upgrade systems. Manage and prioritise internal facilities requests, ensuring a proactive and professional approach. Oversee all contracted services (SLAs) to maintain high service standards. Produce and maintain site layout drawings and project plans for major alterations and moves. Monitor and update sustainability information for presentations, notice boards, and intranet. Test, cost, and implement energy-saving initiatives. Liaise with local modules, other sites, and suppliers to dispose of unwanted equipment. Manage environmental issues, including underground tanks, recycling, and waste systems. Assist in the procurement and purchasing of required materials. Maintain and update the Agility CMMS asset register, assigning plant numbers to new equipment. Ensure compliance with contractor control requirements. Maintain documentation, files, reports, and KPIs related to facilities activities. What will you bring to the role? Essential skills: Health & Safety Training: N.E.B.O.S.H certification. ONC Qualification: Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of Environmental Legislation: Understanding improvement targets and compliance. Desirable skills: Understanding of IEEE 17th Edition Electrical Regulations. Knowledge of contractor management. Understanding of Water By-laws. Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project, AutoCAD 2011, Agility CMMS, and Allen Martin Energy Management. Strong time management and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Strong organisational, planning, and delivery skills.
