Exciting opportunities are available for Staff Nurses to join our team on ward 16 at Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole.
Our Registered Nurses work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide innovative and patient-centred care for all of our patients. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care to achieve the very best in patient outcomes.
We can offer you the chance to develop and maintain your knowledge and skills whilst working on a supportive unit. The Trust offers a comprehensive training and support package for staff joining our local hospitals. It's a good place to learn and gain experience working alongside a good team that welcomes new staff members.

Person Specification
Education
* Registered Nurse with NMC registration in appropriate branch.
* Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
* Qualified mentor (mentorship award or equivalent) or working towards.
* Sound clinical skills/knowledge within the specialty or appropriate experience during nurse training.
* Up to date knowledge of professional issues.
* Able to accommodate the demands of the post and able to demonstrate good attendance.
* Minimum six months post registration experience in relevant specialty.
* Evidence of post registration development in the relevant specialty.
* Experience of being 'in charge' of a shift.
Knowledge & Skills
* Demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of supportive and flexible working.
* Good time management and effective organisational skills.
* Extended nursing skills.
* Up to date mandatory training.
* Training in handling and administration of Blood.
* Knowledge of Trust policies and procedures.
* Ability to delegate.
Personal Qualities
* Sound interpersonal and communication skills to support the delivery of quality, effective and safe care delivery.
* Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of core trust values and be able to articulate in practice.
