Job summary The Northamptonshire Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service is excited to be expanding in line with the NHS Long Term Plan ambitions for Perinatal Mental Health. We are pleased to be able to recruit a Nursing Operational Manager to provide specialist knowledge, leadership and expertise relating to the provision of perinatal mental health nursing interventions under the Countywide Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service alongside the service manager, Social Work and OT Operational Managers. Main duties of the job The postholder will provide operational and clinical leadership for the Mental Health Nursing pathway and shared management of the duty and assessment pathway within the service. The postholder will be part of the service's leadership team to provide clinical and managerial supervision and leadership in order to increase the offer to women experiencing or at risk of experiencing moderate to severe mental health conditions during pregnancy and 12 months postpartum with follow up where indicated up to 24 months postpartum.
