Taskmaster Resources LTD are currently recruiting for an experienced shift Supervisor for a company in WF10. Shift pattern: 12 hours shifts on a 4on 4off rotational basis days and nights. Pay : £33,207.20 shift allowance: £9,962.16 The duties include; Sole management and responsibility of two wash machines To be accountable and responsible for their own and others' health and safety by enforcing Health & Safety protocols to effectively protect staff, contractors, and visitors. Ensure daily audits for safety and quality are completed Understanding the health, safety and environment policy and ensuring the policy is brought to the attention of all employees, particularly new starters through safety briefs. Achieving site performance and quality targets through the effective and efficient planning and running of the shift. Motivating a team of operatives through good communication, team briefs, training and development to ensure staff understand their roles and the role within the team. The implementation and monitoring of company processes and procedures. Liaising with customers and suppliers. Carry out stock counts as required during the shift. Completing site consumable counts as required and raising purchase orders and procuring where necessary. Accurate and timely completion of shift reports. Communicate clearly and concisely issues to management and maintenance team Update performance boards Providing cover for other members of the management team when required To carry out quality control checks in line with processes Carry out various hygiene tasks Liaise with other internal departments to ensure daily, weekly, monthly tasks are completed Leading and managing a team in a hands-on role, in the warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment Ensure all training is kept up to date for all employees Carry out HR tasks as necessary for example return to work, holiday planning, welfare reviews, staff reviews, timesheets and disciplinary/investigation procedures Rotation and Organisation of labour Communication with Customers Ensure all accidents and near miss events are reported immediately with sufficient root cause analysis documented and copies supplied to the SHE team. Ensure that general housekeeping adherence is maintained Book when required agency employees based on agreed production planning for the next 24 hours against the manpower capture sheets. Skills; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written PC / IT Skills - Able to complete all duties requiring use of application such as SharePoint, Excel, Word, Emails and Teams. Complete hourly trackers, shift reports and site management information systems Manages and controls performance, cost, and capacity of external service partners Possesses a combination of practical and intercultural skills and an ability to shift, and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses and hands-on project and operations management Accountable - Takes actions when goals arent met, monitoring the progress of key initiatives. Conscientious - Reliable, honest and treats people with respect. Always willing to do their best and drive performance Have a sincere bias for action and be passionate about achieving results and driving production through efficiency and process improvement Possesses the ability to manage detail, establish root cause and be able to extract and analyse data. The ability to assess situations quickly and diffuse tense situations. Fully aware of the key business procedures/process/policies when managing potential misconduct situations, escalating appropriately when required. Health, Safety & Environmental Focus - Ensures Safety is prioritised for the site and their team. Capable of carrying out Health, Safety and Environmental audits, daily safety walk arounds, deliver safety briefs, has a clear understanding of risks/unsafe conditions/unsafe behaviours and how to reduce or control. Enforces all HSE site polices and able to address issues with the staff.
