Operations Administrator
Location: Sheerness
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8:30-17:00 (one hour lunch)
Pay Rate: £12 per hour, negotiable DOE
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Igloo is currently recruiting an experienced Operations Administrator for our client based in Sheerness. Our client is a large transport company that deals with the transportation of new and used vehicles across the UK and Europe.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Allocate work to Compound Drivers using PDA and in-house systems.
2. Face-to-face interactions with Compound Drivers.
3. Update and maintain operational databases and spreadsheets.
4. Prepare and review operational reports.
5. Provide support to the operational team and assist with additional duties as needed.
6. Ensure clear and effective communication with the team and provide feedback.
What We're Looking For:
1. Operations experience with the ability to work under pressure.
2. Excellent IT skills and the confidence and ability to work with new IT systems and databases, as well as Microsoft Office. Excel knowledge is a must.
3. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Be punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
6. Be able to work as part of a team as well as under own esteem.
