As the Regional Sales Manager for the South East region you will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, building and executing a strategy that targets accounts with significant revenue opportunities. Reporting into the Head of Field Sales you will be actively involved in ensuring accounts and business operations are sound and effectively running. The role requires proactive lead business generation, working effectively to develop long-term strategic alliances, development maintenance and growth of a robust sales pipeline and management of contract negotiations, closing new business with integrity and a service-driven approach. The Role - Regional Sales Manager To oversee the growth and development of the Southern Sales Team- starting with 4 direct reports. To lead on providing full leadership in terms of leading, coaching, and motivating the Southern Team, building a winning culture consistent with the values of the company, and ensuring appropriate communication and goal setting. To manage the team structure, forecasting resources, and assisting in identifying and delivering training when required to support team and company objectives. To organise 1-2-1 meetings on both a weekly and quarterly basis in support of employee engagement and performance management and manage absence recording for the team on People HR. To assist the Head of Field Sales in the development, and executive of the sales strategy for the South East region, leveraging the Ipswich HQ showroom to mirror success in London. To create and coordinate innovative and solution orientated strategies that will increase opportunities to partner with organisations across the region. To support and develop new starters, delivering coaching and training and leading through example through effective sales performance and providing a passionate, positive and professional culture. To work effectively with senior decision makers to develop long-term strategic alliances that deliver gross profit for the business. To prepare reports and data analysis for the Head of Field Sales, Commercial Director and/or Managing Director to report of sales success in the South East. To attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions to promote the highest standard of professionalism and to forge effective working relationships. What You Will Need In The Role Of Regional Sales Manager You will need proven experience working within a similar B2B Sales Management role. Demonstrable experience in exceeding targets consistently and showcasing sales best practices. Able to understand and and interpret and KPI's and ROI with ease. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Responsive, with a service driven approach to deliver the 'wow' factor. IT Proficient, with a good understanding of CRM and sales systems.
