Founded seventeen years ago, Bellevue Education is a world-class group of schools dedicated to providing the best possible education to children and students aged from 1 to 19 years. The group consists of 21 schools across the UK, in Switzerland and France, with headquarters in London, UK.
The role
The role will consist of working with the central marketing team and the schools to cross delivery on the marketing, communications and admissions strategy for a portfolio of schools. You will support the schools with delivering the annual marketing plans, strategic initiatives, admissions strategy and monitor performance against set targets for the schools.
A key aspect of the role will be to support the schools with creating engaging content for their website and social media platforms, and to support the schools with their communication channels. The person would need to have experience and be comfortable with writing content based around keywords to improve SEO and online performance. Along with content writing, the person will be required to create and advise schools on effective campaigns and strategies for their individual social media platforms.
You will join a team of highly enthusiastic and creative marketing and communications professionals who work in close partnership to drive group marketing and communications initiatives, share best practice and new ideas groupwide, and effectively support our highly experienced and dedicated Education Team, Heads and their staff.
The position requires a savvy creative marketer who is a flexible and goal driven “all-rounder” with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong work ethic and a drive to support and develop on our group wide marketing strategies. We are looking for a person who is self-motivated, creative and has a sincere interest in other people. With a strong focus on goals and detail-orientation, this role provides you with a great deal of responsibility and autonomy. In this role you will report to the Marketing Manager. This is a full-time position, with an immediate start.
The role will be based in our offices in central London (Waterloo), with regular travel to a portfolio of schools (it offers a hybrid model of 3-4 days in the office/at schools and 1-2 days can be working from home)
Salary: £32,500-£37,500
Required Skills
* Support the planning and delivery of the individual schools marketing activity
* Work alongside a team of school marketers; ensuring efforts and priorities are aligned with the schools’ overall objectives and targets, as agreed with the Heads
* Work with the Group Education Directors to support the schools marketing efforts and priorities effectively and monitor performance
* Proven track record of executing and delivering successful campaigns that meet or exceed targets
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Deliver marketing campaigns that will encompass, amongst other things; Content marketing including video, digital marketing, blogs, SEO, direct mail, social media, publications and advertising.
* Create plans for and lead on the delivery of specified elements of enquiry generation activities
* Outstanding copy-writing skills with excellent spelling and grammar, with the ability to write quality content no matter what the subject
* Ability to write SEO-optimised content
* Experience of working on websites, including the marketing funnel and the role of an organisation’s website in this process. Experience to include editing information using a content management system
* Experience of creating or contributing to creative and engaging social media strategies
* Experience with social platforms and understanding of best practices
* Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within the group
* Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines
* Outstanding attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build relationships with colleagues of all levels and internal and external partners
* Support the Marketing Managers with school projects and targeted campaigns
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in the content writing or copywriting role
* Excellent communication & computer skills
Desirable Skills
* Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud
* Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (e.g. Google Analytics, SEMrush).
You don't necessarily need to have worked in Education before, but you do need a passion for it. Previous experience of working in a fast-paced marketing role and an ability to pick up new tools quickly are also essential.
