The Bath and North East Somerset Alternative Learning Team are looking to appoint an Advisory Teacher to oversee and monitor the quality of provision for young people who access Education other than at School (EOTAS) and Section 19 packages. We are looking for someone who can work effectively alongside young people, alternative providers, commissioners, schools and families to secure the best education provision for every child.
Responsibilities of the role include:
* To provide advice and oversight for pupils open to EOTAS and Section 19 packages in the local authority
* To liaise with parents and carers, offering advice and guidance on EOTAS and Section 19 packages
* To regularly report on the effectiveness of the EOTAS and Section 19 packages to the manager of the ALT team and SEND teams
* To provide quality assurance visits to alternative providers
