About Our Client
Page Group is working with an industry-leading logistics provider based in Huddersfield who are looking for a new Planning & Dispatch Manager. This is a newly created role that will manage the real-time planning for a field-based function. The role will manage real-time field planning, Customer Service & Admin.
Job Description
* Management of 55 FTE across 3 areas including real-time field planning, Customer Service & Admin, including 3 direct reports.
* Real-Time Field Planning - reactive planning / real-time planning function supporting a field operation, ensuring solutions are provided to meet contractual SLA's.
* Customer Service - liaise with national B2B customers ensuring they are kept up to date with order status or any potential changes.
* Admin - Back office support linking Customer Service, Real-time Planning and other administrative activities.
* Drive continuous improvement activities across a wide scale, complex customer operation comprising both field and internal functions.
* Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the wider business.
* Work closely with the pre-planning function to ensure a collaborative and joined-up approach is provided in terms of customer strategy.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience planning for complex field operations - could be transport/logistics, engineers, etc.
* Ability to manage varying contractual agreements.
* Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
* Proven record working in a time-sensitive environment.
