This role is to carry out manufacturing activities and simple maintenance tasks that contribute to the processing stages of in house Drug Substance Manufacture. These activities will be carried out in a manner that utilises lean manufacturing philosophies and fulfils all cGMP and HSE requirements. In addition, you must have a flexible mind set and be able to work in any area of Manufacturing as required to support the overall Manufacturing schedule. Main responsibilities Perform in house Drug Substance manufacturing activities whilst meeting all regulatory requirements of cGMP and EHS to a pre-determined schedule. Execute manufacturing tasks assigned in the schedule including facility and equipment preparation, fermentation, chromatography, filtration, tear down, clean up and waste management. Support simple preventative maintenance on manufacturing process equipment to minimize unplanned downtime. Support the execution of qualification protocols (by operating equipment) to maintain the qualified status of equipment. Support the execution of validation protocols (by operating equipment) to maintain the validated state of processes. Support the monitoring and maintenance of the facility and direct utilities to meet the required compliant status. Participate in process monitoring and Operational Excellence initiatives. Support the maintenance of a constant state of inspection readiness. Specifics of Position Work in compliance with HSE and cGMP regulations at all times.
