Description
easyJet wants to build a world-class Commercial function, delivering industry-leading revenue performance across our network. This role sits within the Trading team which forms part of the wider Revenue Management team within the Commercial function at easyJet.
The Trading team is primarily responsible for delivering against sales and revenue targets for our key markets in line with the financial plan, by managing price along with other commercial levers, and working with key stakeholders across the Commercial team and wider business to maximise performance.
In this position you will play a key role in supporting our strategic early trading and revenue management initiatives to maximize our key metric Revenue per Seat (RPS). Reporting to the Senior Early Trading Manager, you will be responsible for executing early trading strategies and closely tracking performance across various routes. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
How you’ll do it
You'll leverage your destination and product knowledge to gain insights into competitor offerings and pricing. Additionally, you'll work closely with digital and marketing teams to enhance distribution channels and provide support in developing ways of working between UK and EU trading teams, assisting Senior and Lead Trading Managers.
You will also carry out:
1. Execute Early Trading Strategies
o Implement trading strategies in the early booking period to optimize revenue in the long-term.
o Analyse key sales trends and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
o Collaborate with Regional Trading Managers and contribute to cohesive execution within the Trading team.
2. Performance Monitoring and Analysis
o Monitor flight performance for both peak and off-peak periods.
o Analyse data to identify risks and opportunities, taking pre-emptive actions to optimize performance.
o Report on significant trends and recommend pricing adjustments to enhance revenue.
o Regularly review flight sales and booking curves.
3. Training and Development Support
o Participate in continuous training programs to maintain and improve trading knowledge.
o Contribute to the development and maintenance of training materials.

What you will need to do the role:

Your experience in aviation and travel revenue management, as well as skills in analysis, business planning, and research, are crucial. You will challenge the status quo, have excellent communication skills and the capacity to build relationships, both internally and externally.
You should be resilient, adaptable to change, and passionate about driving commercial success in the travel industry, with a strong digital orientation.

Location & Hours of Work
We support hybrid working and spend 60% of our time at our HQ at Luton airport. This role will also require some travel around our Airport bases.
