Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Telesales Team Manager to join our telecommunication campaign, on behalf of the Uks top mobile network, at our award-winning call centre in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in call centre management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving sales performance. This role involves managing and motivating a team of sales agents to achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring exceptional service and compliance KPI’s are met.
£27,000 basic salary (OTE 40,000-£45,000 per annum)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales agents
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
2. Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Analyse sales data and trends to identify team improvement areas.
- Work closely with the senior management team to align strategies with overall company objectives.
3. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Implement systems to track and report on sales metrics, call quality, and conversion rates.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
4. Training and Development:
- Liase with Learning and Development manager to deliver ongoing training to sales agents on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Develop and deliver sales training programs to enhance the team's capabilities.
5. Process Optimisation:
- Collaborate with dialler management and other campaigns to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Implement technology solutions to enhance productivity and customer experience.
6. Customer Focus:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through monitoring of NPS, personal conversation and compliance scores.
- Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and build customer rapport
Essential
- Proven experience in sales management,
- Previous contact centre experience
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
