National Grid is hiring a Change Manager on a permanent basis. The location for this role can be based from Bristol, Derby or Cardiff - Hybrid Working Policy.
Job Purpose
National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) is at the heart of the Clean, Fair and Affordable energy Transition, and to remain there, is going through significant Change. This exciting new role will sit in the Change Management team within the NGED Strategy & Transformation team and will focus on supporting the effective delivery of Change into the business.
What you'll do
* Enlighten others regarding change management and culture initiatives by providing subject matter expertise.
* Produce key toolkits to support adoption of changes into BAU.
* Build and drive Change Networks across the organisation.
* Maintain and act upon BU wide change impacts and landscape.
* Build Change Leadership within the wider organisation.
* Identify and then implement change strategies with Business Units to support the Transformation.
* Partner with Communication and People teams to ensure alignment in messaging across the business unit.
* Provide change management best practices to help transformation programmes to deliver effective change.
About you
* Demonstrated experience leading large-scale organization-wide change management projects or programs.
* Experience managing change initiatives for global transformations with successful outcomes.
* Experience working with a diverse and multinational employee population.
* Possession of Prosci, ACMP, or an equivalent OCM certification is a bonus.
* Proficient in influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Strong client relationship skills in a dynamic client environment.
* Extensive project management experience, including handling schedules, scopes, issues, and risks.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to solve organizational and behavioral challenges.
* Familiarity with leading change management practices and the ability to measure and analyze data.
* Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
What you'll get
A competitive salary circa £70,000 – dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
