A great opportunity for the role of Production Engineer has arisen within the Machine Shop at Triumph Motorcycles, the UK’s largest motorcycle manufacturer and global leading heritage brand. Working as part of a team of engineers responsible for the introduction of new models into production, you will be based within our Machine Shop team and focused on Crankshaft production. You will support day-to-day production, overcoming any engineering issues that may arise.
In the development phases, you will work with design for new model introduction, offering advice as to what can be practically achieved and highlighting any cost or cycle time implications of new proposals. Leading up to volume production, you will be responsible for prototype production builds, defining machining processes and component flow. Process sheets and stage drawings are an integral part of the role, being the foundation for Quality in production.
Production is the key objective, meaning flexibility is a must and although rare, working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays can be required as part of paid overtime as business needs dictate.
You must have an engineering and machining background to be considered for this role.

2. 3D CAD
3. Hands-on role
4. Refurbishing cranks
5. Engine building
