The role
In this role you will support the Asset Lifecycle Manager (Utilities) in developing infrastructure and asset standards for utilities across all airports, standardising assets and approaches to drive efficiency, support growth, service delivery, and capital delivery efficiency. You will be an integral member of the ‘Utility Network’ Centre of Excellence, driving innovation and new technology into asset development plans. To support the development of investment plans by defining requirements for renewal, regulatory change, and growth. To specify maintenance and service delivery requirements for Water, Gas, and Energy Networks.
What will make you successful in the role?
The successful candidate will have a professional qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services (minimum HNC). They should have significant experience and understanding of Water, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering systems. Proven ability to manage Opex and Capex budgets is essential. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. The candidate should understand and be able to translate MAG’s vision, effectively communicating it. Influencing and negotiating skills are necessary to motivate multidisciplinary networks to work towards a common goal, delivering a world-class Engineering delivery model. The potential to stimulate and manage change is important. Good communication skills are needed to present a case briefly and logically and to influence the senior leadership teams.
