As Bar Manager with Apex Hotels, you will bring a depth of Knowledge of classic and modern cocktail recipes, techniques and presentation. You will be creative and innovative with the vision to capitalise on sales opportunities. You will be committed to building and developing the team. As 1819 Bar Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Develop unique signature cocktails that become hallmark of the bar, cocktails which reflect on seasonal ingredients and also for specific themes or events.
* Lead, train and motivate the team of bartenders, servers and other staff.
* Planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions to attract and retain customers
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
* Manage budgets, reduce costs and maximise profitability
* Co-ordinating and managing employees to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service within the bar area.
* Recruitment and staff training
* Create a team environment that promotes good employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment, engagement and pride in the department and hotel.
* Excellent attention to detail, be creative and innovative
Bar experience at management level
* In-depth knowledge of Bar functions including stock control and cellar management.
* Previous experience in recruitment, coaching, training and performance management of staff.
* Demonstrable experience of the ability to increase bar revenue and profitability
* Excellent understanding of Licensing Law, Health & Safety and Allergen Legislation, ideally a Personal License holder or suitably qualified
