Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Registered Children's Nurse to support the continuing development of the Paediatric Allergy service at Darent Valley Hospital. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative Registered Children's Nurse with experience in paediatric allergy to join our service to work as part of our specialist nursing team across Paediatrics. This role will involve cross site working at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, as clinics determine. We have an allergy team offering an excellent service for children and young people within the locality, forging strong links with tertiary services. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work across children's services providing clinical, specialist and holistic support/advice to children and young people. We are looking for you to apply if you are a motivated clinical senior children's nurse, with knowledge and experience in paediatric allergy, preferably including experience working with young people approaching transition to adult services. You will be working independently running nurse led clinics and also supporting consultant clinics. You will have excellent interpersonal, IT and communication skills with the ability to organise, manage and plan your own workload effectively. You will be dedicated and passionate in your role whilst demonstrating excellent leadership and team working.
