Domino's is currently looking to recruit full-time Shift Managers in Farnborough-Central. The shift manager role is a fast-paced, hands-on, career progression program that helps you gain quick, valuable, and effective knowledge to lead you towards becoming a Domino’s store manager in 12-18 months. If you can manage quality, speed, and people; you will produce great results.
Main Duties and Responsibilities as our Shift Manager will include:
* Set and implement standard operating procedures and service standards of the store.
* Manage pre-assigned staff for both front and back of house and ensure brand standards are achieved.
* Manage and motivate, recruit, train, and develop staff according to company policies and employment laws.
Responsible for human resource management including implementing disciplinary procedures, dealing with grievances, and conducting annual staff appraisals.
* Manage labour costs and overheads, plan, forecast, and set budgets and sales targets, and evaluate business performance as directed by the Manager.
* Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
* Maintain the effectiveness of IT and other essential in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
* Plan and implement marketing strategies and activities as directed by the Store & Area Manager.
* Plan and execute shop merchandising, layout, and customer traffic flow to maximize sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, and ergonomics.
* Manage stock levels of all food and beverage items, check food deliveries, and ensure proper storage and data entry.
* Oversee health & safety, security, and emergency systems, ensuring staff and customer awareness according to policies and laws.
* Hold weekly review meetings with staff to discuss targets, sales, wages, and food spend.
* Develop personal skills through ongoing training provided by the company or approved providers.
Our ideal Shift Manager will:
* Have experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager/assistant manager level.
* Have the desire to progress to an Area Manager role.
