We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working Science teacher to teach across the age and ability range.
Kettlethorpe High School is a place where pupils love to learn. As our recent highly positive Ofsted inspection noted, “pupils say they leave the school with fond memories and are well prepared”, and “staff enjoy working at the school and feel well-supported”. If you are an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Science, then you could be just the person that we are looking for to join our team.
We are a very cohesive and supportive department that is committed to providing an innovative and high-quality Science education for all our pupils. We are a large, strong team that is motivated to achieve positive pupil experiences and outcomes by working collaboratively to deliver each discipline within our five-year curriculum model. At GCSE, we teach both AQA Combined Trilogy and AQA Separate Science courses. You should be able to teach Science across the ability range for KS3 and KS4 to all disciplines.
We have established working partnerships with several ITT and ECT providers and enjoy sharing our experiences to develop effective new teachers.
Closing date: Noon on Monday 10 March 2025.
Kettlethorpe High School is an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to safeguarding our pupils and expect all staff, governors and volunteers to share this commitment. Any successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
