We are looking for a highly self-motivated and organised individual to join our busy, fast-paced Accident & Emergency Secretarial service at The Royal Oldham Hospital for a full-time post.
You will provide an efficient and effective PA/Administrative service to the Accident & Emergency Consultants.
The post is a challenging role and will involve dealing with patients, relatives, and internal and external agencies. Enquiries will be of a sensitive/confidential nature.
A full range of administrative and clerical duties will be required, and teamwork will be an essential part of the role as cross cover will be required.
You will have excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload whilst working quickly and accurately under pressure.
Previous experience in a range of secretarial/office duties is required along with RSA typing (audio, copy, and word processing) or equivalent demonstrable skills.
AMSPAR or Medical terminology qualifications/experience would be advantageous.
