The Vets Now Pet Emergency Hospital in Central Glasgow provides both a first-class referral service and an out-of-hours emergency service for veterinary practices in and around Glasgow.
Working pattern
You will work 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday from 8am to 6pm.
Clinical Workflow Co-ordinator
Are you an experienced and dynamic professional looking for a leadership role within a fast-paced, specialist referral veterinary environment?
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Senior Nursing Team, playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of our specialist services. As an integral member of our leadership team, you will oversee all referral disciplines, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate the seamless movement of cases through appropriate services.
2. Provide agility and problem-solving expertise to address day-to-day challenges with efficiency and accuracy.
3. Drive operational processes with adaptability and a focus on continuous improvement.
4. Balance the needs of patients, clients, and the business to achieve optimal outcomes without bias.
5. Lead process improvements to enhance hospital efficiency and service delivery.
Person Specification
1. A fully qualified Vet Nurse.
2. Previous experience of working in a multi-discipline Referral Hospital is desirable.
3. Nurse management experience or leadership experience within a veterinary setting.
4. Strong leadership and management skills.
5. Exceptional decision-making skills, able to prioritise and re-organise cases to accommodate emergencies.
6. Must possess strong leadership skills to navigate effective communication with a multidisciplinary team, working effectively with all staff members.
7. Have the ability to build positive relationships, foster collaboration, and gain trust, while confidently making tough decisions when necessary.
8. Has a good ability to reflect and assess situations whilst also identifying areas for improvement.
