Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Steer Automotive Group is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our front-of-house team at our Durham site.

About the Role:
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering outstanding service both face-to-face, over the phone, and via email. You’ll ensure that each customer feels confident that their vehicle is in safe hands, and you'll play a key role in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.
Your main responsibilities will include:
13. Greeting customers warmly and professionally.
14. Managing the customer journey, including handling complaints and resolutions.
15. Answering incoming phone calls and directing them as necessary.
16. Updating customers regularly on the progress of their vehicle repairs.
17. Assisting with inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
18. Maintaining an organised and tidy reception area.
19. Handling administrative tasks such as filing paperwork and updating records.
20. Supporting insurers and customers by providing fast, efficient service.
21. Keeping computer systems and portals updated.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer service role, with excellent communication skills, and a proactive, positive attitude.
Key skills and qualifications:
22. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and by email.
23. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
24. Experience with administration and computer systems, such as MS Office.
25. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
26. Familiarity with the local area to assist with transport logistics.
