Due to their growth, They are now in a fantastic position to bring in a Mechanical Estimator
Report to and Responsible for –
* Production of detailed tender bids and cost plans
* Attending mid and post tender meetings
* Post tender control
* Interfacing with both our existing and prospective new clients
* Communication and interfacing with sub-contractor and supplier companies, using existing companies and generating new leads
The position will involve the day-to-day management of the tender process to ensure standards are maintained and deadlines are met. Whilst mechanically biased, the position also demands a wide knowledge of electrical engineering services. Candidates will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and will have experience in a wide range of sectors, specifically including residential, hotel and student accommodation projects.

* Understanding of associated electrical services
* Flexible in approach to deadlines
* Computer literate with experience of “Trimble Estimation” software
* Issuing supply chain enquiries via electronic platforms
* Issuing/updating tender documents via an electronic control system
* Willing and able to work as part of a team with personal skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment
