Available 24/7, our In-Room Dining team ensures the same level of impeccable service and quality found in our restaurants and bars, offering personalized and bespoke dining options.
As an In-Room Dining Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our in-room dining service, ensuring prompt delivery, accurate billing, and unparalleled guest satisfaction. In addition to supervising the team, you will engage with guests, handle inquiries, and work collaboratively with the hotels chefs to maintain the highest standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all in-room dining orders are delivered promptly and in accordance with hotel standards.
* Be fully conversant with the In-Room Dining menu, demonstrating excellent food and beverage knowledge when interacting with guests.
* Check in with guests to ensure meal satisfaction and a memorable dining experience.
* Personalize interactions and engage with guests to enhance their stay.
* Accurately manage billing processes and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
* Address guest complaints promptly, reporting them to the supervisor/manager and ensuring follow-up is conducted.
* Assist in preparing mise-en-place to ensure the team is fully prepared for service.
* Support the team with clearing, mini-bar refreshes, and delivery of amenities to guest rooms.
* Supervise, train, and motivate the In-Room Dining team, ensuring they adhere to hotel service standards.
* Provide support during service to maintain smooth operations and uphold guest satisfaction.
* Lead by example, assisting the team with manual tasks such as setting up tables and room arrangements.
* Assist in monthly inventory and stock-taking to ensure proper supply levels are maintained.
* Collaborate with other departments, including the kitchen and housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest service.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in room service or in-room dining within a 5-star luxury hotel or similar high-end hospitality environment.
* Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with the ability to confidently guide guests through the menu.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Proficiency in handling billing systems and inventory management processes.
* Impeccable grooming and professional presentation.
* A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality.
* Physical ability to handle manual tasks such as setting up tables and carrying trays.
* Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
