As a VMWare Engineer, you'll be implementing & maintaining virtual environments as well as providing operational support to resolve incidents and performing change activities. You'll be at the forefront of providing proactive management and reactive support of Roke's customers' mission critical secure environments. Your work will support the safety of the nation.

The Key Requirements
* Knowledge of the VMWare suite of products including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and ideally NSX
* Able to administer complex Windows server domain environments, managing availability, resilience, and security
* Awareness of related technologies such as networking, Linux, monitoring tools, scripts, and virtualisation/containerisation
* A history of implementing virtualisation solutions within National Security.

Where you'll work
You'll find our Gloucester site in a business park two minutes from junction 11A of the M5; The site allows easy access to our local customer base. Set on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, you are never far from a picturesque view or lunchtime walk.
Please note this role will involve spending 5 days per week on site with a customer in the Gloucester area, with trips to the local Gloucester office as and when required.

Clearances
Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British National and have resided in the U.K. for the last 10 years.
