Welder / Fabricator required to join a well-established manufacturing company that is based in the Aylesford area. This role is to ensure that all welding is completed to the highest standard whilst adhering and maintaining a strong knowledge of safety protocols.
Welder / Fabricator Position Overview
1. Cut a variety of material to desired size as per works orders.
2. MIG welding
3. Complete required safety inspection check sheets
4. Carefully wrap and palletise items in a safe and accurate manner.
5. Daily rigorous cleaning, including maintenance of machines and work area.
6. Complete quality control on JIG work and on finished products
7. Create requestion forms for consumables, profiles and material
8. Carefully read works order instructions/ engineering drawings to understand required finish on parts.
Welder Position / Fabricator Requirements
9. Proven experience as a Welder or Fabricator is essential to this role.
10. Strong knowledge of MIG Welding
11. Must have ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
12. Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
13. A team player with a flexible 'can-do' attitude.
14. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
15. Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
16. Valid driver's license.
Welder Position / Fabricator Remuneration
17. Full time position
18. Monday to Friday - 40 hour week
19. Salary - £15ph to £16ph - dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications.
20. 28 days holiday package including the bank holidays.
